Once a regular runner in the earlier years of the Bluebell Railway, Primrose has not now steamed since 1974, which is before I was born! She was partly dismantled in preparation for an overhaul which never happened. After years in a siding behind Sheffield Park station she has finally been moved to a position near the works and some work has begun. I believe the Villa Team plans to work on her in earnest once they have completed Baxter's overhaul.
