2-6-4 Tank Locomotive No 80151


4MT near Sheffield Park - Jon Bowers

On Tuesday 27th April 2004, No.80151 was employed on a Russ Hillier photo-charter. This photo show the train catching the early morning sunlight from the east side of the line in the Sheffield Park area.

The last in a long line of large tank locomotives to have been built at Brighton Works, the Standard 4 tanks were closely associated with the last years of the Bluebell Line under British Railways. 80151 arrived at Sheffield Park from another preservation site in 1998.
